Position Summary:

As a Product Training Specialist, you will be trained on various SpectrumVoIP systems and be able to support our clients and field associates with technical issues and product knowledge. The employee’s primary duties will consist of providing training and support to our Sales Team, Field Technicians and Clients. This position will be based in our Plano, TX office and report to the EVP of Operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct onsite, webinars and one-on-one training for client accounts.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training to SpectrumVoIP clients using effective methods such as onsite training, online demonstrations, webinars, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Identify new training opportunities to meet client needs and provide input to improve training.
  • Listen to client needs, address issues timely and directly, recommend product enhancements to improve quality of service.
  • Establish strong business relationships and client loyalty with clients.
  • Organize and implement activities to build relationships with existing clients and potential clients including:
    • Conduct client satisfaction surveys
    • Participate in special events
  • Run periodic reports to track client activity and training opportunities.
  • Travel as needed to client sites and training events as permitted.
  • Monitor training system for assigned tasks.
  • Client Communications:
    • Identify and develop electronic training announcements
    • Work with SpectrumVoIP installation and support teams to address customer service issues. Resolve client questions and concerns in a timely manner.
    • Identify trends and training needs across the client population and proactively communicate to provide training.

  • Strong interpersonal, training, verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convey information effectively and professionally under time constraints and regardless of the client’s disposition.
  • Must be self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Comfortable using video conferencing communication tools such as Zoom and Teams
  • Comfortable being on camera in front of an audience.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a self-directed individual.
  • Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential material and demonstrate high levels of trustworthiness and integrity.
  • Highly Proficient using Microsoft Office – especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet Browsers and web-based computer applications.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Adult Learning, Communications, Business Administration, Technology or relevant experience in related field.
  • Two plus years managing client accounts, preferably in telecommunications industry
  • Two plus years training professionals on the use of technical or other business-related web-based software applications.
  • Two plus years building business management relationships.
